Push to Talk Deprecation Notice

As part of our commitment to digital human technology, we've made significant strides in the past months in the area of speech recognition. The ability for our digital humans to understand what the user is saying is core to their usefulness.
In October 2023, we released our enhanced speech recognition system, you can read more about this here: Feature: Enhanced Speech Recognition. In order to improve your digital human experience we will be taking the following actions:
- Deprecating PUSH_TO_TALK and VOICE_ACTIVITY modes when setting voiceInputMode option on both our public NPM package and our Hosted Experience.
- Automatic migration of all digital humans onto our enhanced speech recognition system on June 1st 2024.
- Removal of PUSH_TO_TALK and VOICE_ACTIVITY modes on June 1st 2024.
